* Oyebanji’s unique style of politics and governance endears him and is being applauded by people

The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, HRM Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, Afuntade 1, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his prestigious award of the Best Governor of the year 2023.
The Daily Independent newspapers conferred on Governor Oyebanji the award of Best Governor of the Year in Community Development on Saturday.
A statement by the Media Adviser to the Alawe, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi, stated that Oba Alabi, a former Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, congratulated the governor on the honour, describing it as “well deserved”.
The Alawe said, “Governor Oyebanji’s impactful strides in the development of the various communities, particularly at the grassroots, endeared him to the people of the state and consequently to those outside the state which accorded him high recognition throughout the country and beyond.
“The award is also in recognition of Governor’s sincerity of purpose in bringing native sagacity and openness to meet the yearning of the people in nooks and crannies of the state through the provision basic infrastructures”.
Oba Alabi, while rejoicing with the Governor, said, “The governor will, now and always, win many more laurels for his unique style of politics and governance which is being applauded by the people.
The monarch also congratulated the wife of the Governor, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, and the entire family on the meritorious award bestowed on the Ekiti State Governor by the Daily Independent newspapers.
