The Management of Hillside University of Science and Technology (HUST), Okemesi, Ekiti State has announced the commencement of admission for the 2023/2024 academic session into 30 different programmes.
This followed approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) after its resource verification inspection team had a final look at facilities in the institution.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Iheanyichukwu Okoro, said that the approved programmes spread across four colleges – College of Health and Medical Sciences; Engineering and Computing Sciences; Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences; as well as Business, Law and Educational Sciences.
The programmes under the College of Health and Medical Sciences include Anatomy, Audiology, Dentistry, Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Sciences, Nutrition and Dietetics, Optometry, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Physiology.
The College of Engineering and Computing Sciences programmes are Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Construction Engineering, Data Science and Software Engineering.
Others are Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing and Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security.
The VC further listed Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Petroleum Chemistry and Forensic Science as part of courses undertaken in the College of Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences.
According to Prof. Okoro, the College of Business, Law and Educational Sciences has Accounting, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Economics, and Mass Communication.
