In a bid to further strengthen the security architecture in Ekiti State, the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, will on Monday present newly acquired operational vehicles to security agencies in the State.

The presentation ceremony, which will involve the formal handover of the vehicles to heads of the various security agencies, will take place at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti.

This was contained in a statemern on Sunday by the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Olayinka Oyebode.

Oyebode stated that “the provision of the operational vehicles underscores the determination of the Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji administration to rid the State of crime and criminality by equipping security agencies with the necessary logistics and operational support.

“This initiative is part of the BAO administration’s sustained investment in the safety, welfare and overall wellbeing of residents, in line with its Shared Prosperity agenda,” he said.
