PHOTOS: Day SGF, Oore charted progress course for Nigeria, Ekiti communities

It was another time to chart the course for the progress and development of Nigeria recently when the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, played host to a frontline traditional ruler and the Oore of Otun Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adeagbo,Ilufemiloye l, Okinbaloye ll in Abuja.

Oba Adeagbo, who is the permanent chairman of Moba Local Government Traditional Council of Obas (kings), also seized the opportunity to discuss issues of his community, Otun Ekiti and further development needs of Mobaland for the attention of the Federal Government.

The SGF and the monarch had deep discussions about the progress of the country and how the grassroots could benefit tremendously in the developmental strides of the President Bola Tinubu administration.

The Oore praised the SGF for his calmness, maturity and experience in handling the country’s affairs as the administrative engine of the Nigeria.

Oba Adeagbo also thanked Akume for hosting him, saying, “As custodian of tradition, culture and history of the people, I will be praying for you,” adding that the revered Kabiyesi loves the SGF so much.
