PHOTOS: Ekiti monarch relishes newness of the New Year, prays for Nigeria’s progress

The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Ekiti State, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo Ilufemiloye l, Okinbaloye ll, is excited by the newest and freshness of the New Year.

Oba Adeagbo, who is the Southwest Coordinator National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, says the newness and freshness are “reflection of the development, transformation and progress to expect in the country in 2025 under the present President Bola Tinubu government”.

These, the frontline traditional ruler, who is the Permanent Chairman, Moba Local Government Traditional Council of Obas – Kings and Chiefs, said, would dovetail to the different states of the federation, Southwest States and Ekiti including his Moba Local Government area.

The monarch, who in his Year 2025 message, used the newness and freshness of the New Year and everyday as points of contact to pray for the land and people, said, “May the Almighty God bless our community, our state and our beloved country Nigeria”.

The monarch lauded the people of Otun Ekiti for their unity, contributions and support for the development of the community assuring that Otun Ekiti and the indigenes would continue to prosper and grow from strength to strength and progress to progress.

Oba Adeagbo also called on families in Nigeria to have stronger bonding in the New Year in view of the inherent gains in building and maintaining stronger ties and unity.
