The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, His Majesty Oba Adekunle Adeagbo, has expressed joy over the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps Area Command headquarters in his community.
The traditional ruler, who appreciated the NSCDC High Command for the development, reiterated his commitment to supporting the corps and other security agencies and outfits to enhance safety of lives and property.
Chiefs and other community leaders, who were at the place to receive the new NSCDC Area Commander, expressed delight at the development which they said would boost security.
The NSCDC Area Command in Otun Ekiti will supervise four local governments in Ekiti State.
Oba Adeagbo, who spoke at Otun Ekiti while hosting the newly posted NSCDC Area Commander, Chief Supt.of Corps, Isaac Owoeye, in his palace, thanked the Federal Government for “this great gesture”.
This, Oba Adeagbo said “is because Otun Ekiti Mobaland is a border town to Kwara and Osun states”.
The Oore appreciated and prayed for the newly posted Area Commander, Owoeye, “for a fruitful and successful tenure in Mobaland, Ekiti State”.
