The Oore of Otun Ekiti and Permanent Chairman Moba Local Government Traditional Council of Obas – kings and Chiefs, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, on Wednesday led monarchs in the local government area to the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in Otun Ekiti, Mobaland, Ekiti State.
Oba Adeagbo, on the occasion, which had in attendance the local government leadership, members of the Legion, security agencies, men and officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps and youth corps members, put smiles on the faces of members of the Nigerian Legion in the council with his widow’s mite.
The Oore appreciated the sacrifice of past heroes, saying, “Without their sacrifice in protecting the country, there will be no Nigeria today.
“As Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, we are solidly behind those left behind and we will support them morally and psychologically in areas of life,” Oba Adeagbo said.
Wreaths were laid in honour of the fallen heroes on the occasion.
