POLICE ARREST 300 SUSPECTS, RECOVER KNIVES, TOY GUN, CANNABIS IN RAID

The FCT Police Command has arrested about 300 persons during a major raid on crime flashpoints, shanties and uncompleted buildings across the Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT police said in a post that “the operation, conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2026, led to the recovery of knives, a toy gun, cannabis and other illicit drugs.

“The suspects are currently undergoing screening and profiling, with those found culpable to be prosecuted while those with no case to answer will be released”.

The police said intelligence-led raids will continue across the FCT and urged residents to report suspicious activities and suspected criminal hideouts.
