There was excitement at the palace of the Oore of Otun Ekiti and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, His Majesty, Oba Alayeluwa Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, Ilufemiloye 1 on Sallah day played host to Muslims in Mobaland.
The Muslims, led by the Chief Imam of Mobaland, Alhaji Onipede, were at the palace to honour the traditional ruler and as well celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr with him.
It was funfair of sort at the palace as the Muslims both young and old had pleasurable moments in the palace in celebration of the successful end of the fasting period.
Oba Adeagbo, who expressed joy that the Muslims ended the Ramadan fasting with celebrations, prayed that they would live to witness many more celebrations of Eid-El-Fitr in sound health.
The monarch, as he celebrated the August occasion with the Muslim adherents, enjoined them to continue to pray for progress, development, peace, unity and prosperity in Otun Ekiti, Mobaland, Ekiti State and indeed Nigeria.
The Oore enjoined the faithful to live by the lessons learned during the period of the 30-day fasting in the Holy Month.
