Ekiti monarch hails Tinubu’s intervention programmes, makes case for more communities

The Oore of Otun-Ekiti and Permanent Chairman, Moba Traditional Council of Obas, Kings and Chiefs, Oba Dr Adekunle Adeagbo, has lauded the President Bola Tinubu for the Federal Government’s intervention programmes which have positively impacted communities.
Oba Adeagbo listed such interventions to include the Renewed Hope Skill Acquisition Programme and cash transfer initiatives, which he said had lifted many out of poverty and positively impacted communities.
The traditional ruler, who spoke in Abuja on Wednesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard M. Doro, solicited the extension of laudable government programmes to his people in Otun Ekiti, Moba Local Government and Ekiti State.
The Oore also hailed the Minister, Doro, describing him as a compassionate and people-oriented leader committed to humanitarian service as he also commended him respect for traditional institutions.
The minister appreciated Oore Adeagbo for recognising the impact of the Federal Government’s interventions across communities.
Doro reaffirmed the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to taking humanitarian and poverty reduction interventions to vulnerable Nigerians across the country.
He said that his ministry’s engagements in different parts of Nigeria are driven by the determination to understand community needs, strengthen interventions and ensure that government programmes reach those who need them most.
