The venue was the Palace of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and the event was conferment of the chieftaincy title of Utukpa-Oritse of Warri Kingdom on the First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu.

According to the palace, Utukpa-Oritse of the Warri Kingdom, also known as Ugbọnẹ́, is an honour symbolising heritage, service, and royal recognition.

The event was attended by top personalities, including Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, Sheriff Oborevwori, governor of the state, and Ifeanyi Okowa, former governor of Delta, the Oore of Otun Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo; alongside many prominent traditional rulers.

Oba Adeagbo said the event and t attendance of royalties from the South West and beyond signified love and unity of Oduduwa Race Worldwide.
