THE OORE of Otun Ekiti and the Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, Oba Adekunle Adeayo Adeagbo, got recognition in far-away Bayelsa State with invitation to the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) Conference 2025.

The Oore and Southwest Coordinator of the National Council of Traditional Rulers was invited to the conference as a mark of recognition.

For him, it was yet another opportunity for contributions to the country’s oil sector, to pray for growth in the state and as well socialize

Oba Adeagbo seized the opportunity to visit the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewurujakpor, and offered prayers for him and further development of the oil-rich state.

The monarch also visited the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, Engr Felix Ogbe FNSE.

Oba Adeagbo also socialized with other distinguished Nigerians including House of Representatives spokesperson and House Committee on Local Contents member member, Hon. Akin Rotimi; and the Chairman, House Committee on Local Content, Hon. Boma Goodhead and as well indigenous technocrats in oil and gas sector.

Oba Adeagbo, who was excited about his invitation to such an important programme in the energy sector, thanked the Nigerian government for establishing the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), which he said had enabled indigenous Nigerians to participate actively in the Oil and Gas sector of The Nigerian Economy.

The monarch congratulated the Renaissance Group that won an award for the effective acquisition of all Shell Petroleum on shore assets and which is creating massive employment for the Nigerian people.

The Deputy Governor, Ewurujakpor, who spoke while hosting the Oore, appreciated the frontline monarch for his contributions to the Oil and Gas sector before he ascended the throne of his forebears.

The deputy governor also lauded Oba Adeagbo for the honour of visiting the oil-rich Bayelsa State.

Also, the NCDMB Executive Secretary, Engr Ogbe, thanked the Oore for adding colour and class to the entire event and hailed him that his reign as the Paramount Ruler of Mobaland and Southwest Coordinator National Council of Traditional Rulers Abuja has been fruitful and graceful.

The Eze Eberechukwu of the ancient Arochokwu Kingdom and former Director of Renaissance Group, was also in attendance at the conference.
