Health Ministry excited, motivated by recognition award from Ekiti Assembly

Ekiti State Ministry of Health and Human Services is excited by the award recognizing its exceptional service and dedication to enhancing public health and welfare in Ekiti given to it by the state House of Assembly.

The Ministry led by the Commissioner of Health, Dr Oyebanji Filani, says that the award is a challenge to the Ministry to do well in ensuring quality, affordable and accessible healthcare delivery to Ekiti people in all parts of the state.

The Speaker, Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye,
while presenting the award as part of activities marking the first anniversary of the Seventh Assembly, expressed the Assembly’s admiration for the Ministry’s performance over the past year.

Aribasoye hailed “the Ministry’s full compliance with the House’s resolutions, which have significantly improved citizens’ health”.

The Speaker said, “The tireless efforts and remarkable achievements in advancing health and human services have been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our citizens”.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs Olusola Gbenga-Igotun, who received the award on behalf of the Ministry, thanked the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for fostering an environment that allows staff to fulfill their mandates.

Gbenga-Igotun also praised the Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr Oyebanji Filani, for his purposeful leadership in the health sector.

The PS urged the staff to maintain their commitment and dedication to serving the state.
